Review – From the Earth to the Moon (1958)

I Tivo’d this thinking it was a different movie, but by the time I figured out I wasn’t watching what I thought I was, I’d already sat through enough of it to prompt me to stick through the rest. Overall it was a dull experience, a sad thing to do to Jules Verne. Indeed, the only thing that stood out about the experience was the odd decision to recycle some of the Theremin noise from Forbidden Planet (not exactly that picture’s high point, and certainly unwelcome as leftovers).
