Review – Psycho 3

Norman Bates is back up to his old tricks again. This time around the love interest is an ex-nun looking for a little kindness and finding it in a very dangerous place. The antagonist side is shared by a no-good drifter and a nosy reporter eager to dig up Norman’s past. Unfortunately for all concerned, Norman has already dug up his own past and has it sitting in a rocking chair in the usual spot upstairs. Though Anthony Perkins does a good job in his typecast role, by this point the series has devolved to the level of run-of-the-mill slasher flick, a genre easily recognized by the heavy reliance on gore and nudity.
