Review – Lethal Weapon 2

The boys are back, taking on a gang of South African thugs hiding behind diplomatic immunity to protect their smuggling operations. The villains are plenty loathsome, perhaps more so than the rest of the bad guys in the series. Our heroes also pick up a new, annoying sidekick played by Joe Pesci. Other than that, however, this is the same parade of unorthodox cops who play by their own rules, juvenile high jinks and expensive stunt work that form the heart of the Lethal Weapon formula.
